![]() Jan 18, 2012 I started a 28 days of melody project a few days ago. If you haven't already, you should check it out (link in the menu). The unfortunate big news right now is that I have post poned my album until Oct 2012. I am not sure that is enough time, I have some personal life stuff that has taken my main focus away from my hobbies and more on my responsibilities. I'm not even sure if anyone reads this anyway :-D so I am quite possibly writing to no one here. I'm giving out some of my non-public tracks by request, if you are interested in hearing some give me a shout at firesickle@gmail.com Take care, and thanks for listenning :-) -Firesickle ![]() Oct 13, 2011 Booooooom. Hard at work on the album, currently working on remixes of two songs that I just selected for it. Mostly have the playlist flushed out (Everything except the middle 3 songs and the 2 new ones have their play order selected)... Besides music, I've been writing a whole lot. A Short story I submitted to a short story site got rejected but the readers were very detailed in why so I found that very inspiring. I revived a movie script I started writing a couple years ago and starting writing a plot for a Youtube series that can be done with 1 person acting all of the parts. These pieces of work may never see the light of day, or even learn what the light of day is for that matter, but I enjoy it and suppose that is what matters. I got some fan mail the other day, thank you for being awesome... That made my day! Take it easy all, -Firesickle ![]() Sept 3, 2011 Just finished a new free track, uploaded it to sound cloud so I guess I will test my embedding abilities at the bottom of this post Honestly, I have been working pretty hard on my life recently and for the last year I have not been as active musically as I have been in the past. I feel that I am really growing with my style lately. I am very excited about this album, simply because it's new music, and I try to post updates as I progress. I had already selected many tracks earlier this year and will be proceeding with most of those. I wrote a couple new songs in May/June that will appear on the album as well :-). I am looking for another FL studio artist to colab with on side projects if anyone is interested, hit me at firesickle@gmail.com ! FireSickle - A Night at the Colab Feat. David Walters by FireSickle It started out as a colab with a gentlemen I met named David Walters. I ended up finishing it myself, and there it is! Free for the world, Enjoy -Firesickle Edit: I just renamed a song for my album, for my brother who is serving for the US army. Mad respect to our brothers across the seas... Firesickle Over Seas Soldier.mp3 by FireSickle ![]() July 25, 2011 It has been quite a bit since my last update. I took a break from writing music between March and May. I just got back into it in June, nearly finished a brand new song and in July I started another brand new one. I have been changing the music selection I made for my album. If I continue at this pace I can finish 1 song a month and then get the album together by early 2012. I will set a realistic actual date for it's release later this year along with a track listing for anyone who has been keeping up to date with my latest new songs. Those songs are not for download over my website, so contact me through my contacts page and I would be glad to send you MP3s! I am feeling really good about the direction I went with my music this year. The last year and a half break have been very kind to me. I intend to do another 28 days of music project in September which will probably shut me out for a month of work, but perhaps generate some new ideas for my next album. Thanks to everyone for the support, I see I am still getting steady website traffic, I don't know who it is but thank you for listenning :-). FireSickle / Sean Campbell |
